To appreciate the power of our Raleigh boot camp training you have to only know that your body functions as a whole, with muscles firing in sequence to produce the desired movement. Some muscles have to contract to help produce movement, while some contract to steady the spine and hold it in a secure neutral position, still other muscles start working each time your body recognizes a change in position or needs to right an error, such as when it detects a loss of balance. Your body is linked together as a single unit. My Boot Camp class and personal training in Raleigh will challenge your muscles in an unconventional way. Typical strength training attempts to build up the body with an outdated approach such as sitting motionless on a machine while moving one remote body part through a controlled range of motion. This type of training has little relation to real life that it has left participants unprepared to meet the demands of both life and sport. Participants often experience more frequent injury and lowered performance for non– functional training.
